Entrepreneurship Accelerator – 2019-2023
In 2019, the Launch Pad Foundation partnered with the city of Stockton, CA and Mayor Michael Tubbs to launch its first scholarship program tailored for low and moderate-income small business owners in the area.
Participants were provided with free coworking space, entry to a well-established network of fellow entrepreneurs, educational programming, and mentorship.
Empowering our scholarship recipients with vital tools was essential to helping them realize their entrepreneurial ambitions.
Launch Pad came to the city of Stockton with the purpose of catalyzing and growing its burgeoning entrepreneurship ecosystem. We couldn’t be more pleased with the hub of entrepreneurship that Huddle x Launch Pad became. In addition to organizing and hosting community building events, expanding out our ground floor space to support entrepreneurial activity and creating our podcast studio to serve as a space for Stockton voices to be heard; we’re most proud of the impact we’ve had through our scholarship program. Since joining the Stockton community, Launch Pad graduated three cohorts of early stage entrepreneur scholarship recipients. With our thoughtful curriculum, expert guest speakers and targeted mentorships our participants have been able to boost their businesses and exceed their intended goals.
Through our strategic collaboration with both civic and business partners, our scholarship program, buoyed by a comprehensive curriculum, in depth workshops and community gatherings, serves as a pathway to opportunity.
