A bridge to donor support

Laguna Lab is a cultural venue and creative workspace in Sebastopol, on the edge of the Laguna de Santa Rosa. Its exhibitions, performances, poetry and gatherings bring together art, music, movement and experimentation.

As Laguna Lab developed, donors were ready to help. But its own tax-exempt status was still pending, leaving a gap between the support people wanted to give and the structure needed to receive it.

Launch Pad Foundation moved quickly to onboard Laguna Lab as a fiscally sponsored project. Donors could contribute through LPF for its approved charitable work while the team continued developing the organization and its programs.

Fiscal sponsorship gave donors a way to support the approved charitable work through LPF while Laguna Lab continued developing its own organization.
