Helping community leaders keep dance going

Healdsburg Dance Collective began in 2023 when former professional dancers living and teaching locally joined forces. They wanted to share resources, support local artists and create more opportunities for people to experience dance.
Today, that work includes youth and adult classes, performances and scholarships. It connects teachers, studios, students and audiences around a shared commitment to dance in their community.
Much of that effort happens alongside full-time work and other responsibilities. The people making it possible bring professional experience and deep enthusiasm. They also have limited hours to handle the accounting, administration and financial follow-through that charitable work requires.
Launch Pad Foundation provides fiscal sponsorship and practical support behind the scenes. Shared accounting and administrative infrastructure help the collective manage its charitable resources and give its leaders somewhere to turn for support.
For a collective whose leaders also have full-time work and other responsibilities, shared accounting and administrative support helps make the program viable without a full-time administrative staff.
